travel/hitchhiker boxes

I hope Jay Drew doesn't mind
if I share an excerpt from an email he wrote to me... he shared how he
stamps a traveler/hitch hiker into multiple, fixed boxes before he finds it
a home. I haven't found a hitch hiker yet, but I never though about using
one this way.

....And no, we didn't leave
the Palantir hitch hiker there, but when we're lucky
enough to find one of Tom's traveler boxes we kind of kidnap them and stamp
them in to a bunch of static boxes until we find a place we'd like to leave
them. So Palantir, which we were the first to find, was stamped in to about a
dozen letterboxes before we set it free here in Connecticut. You'll see it's
mark at a couple of your boxes: Locust Shade and Few Good Men as I recall.
